Just let me make my plans and then do them. That's all I ask.

Today's Bridge: I still had a lot of really weak hands, but Ken was sitting in my usual seat, and he probably got the worst of it. No kidding - today was his turn to miss a 1NT contract by a trick. My side had five spade tricks off the top plus two aces. I got to play an interesting 2S that happened to make five. I think my holding was S A-Q-x-x H J-10-x D K-x-x C 9-x-x, and Brandy had S K-x-x-x H A-Q-x D 2 C A-Q-x-x-x. Ken led the ten of clubs, and I feared a 4-1 split, so I took the ace and pulled two rounds of trump, leaving someone holding the ten. At that point, I figured I might need a crossruff, so I let that go and led a club from my hand, pulling Ken's king right away and leaving Kevin holding the jack. I believe Ken then led a diamond to Kevin's ace, which set me up for the rest of the tricks. Kevin realized that I was trying to set up a crossruff and led the ten of spades, but I didn't care anymore - I crossed to the queen of clubs, dropped two hearts on the remaining clubs, and crossruffed myself to victory.

Today's Work: I really don't know what's going on anymore. People say lots of stuff and I try not to let it interfere too much with what I'm doing. It's all administrative stuff at this point.

Curt had to take our Internet connection down for a while this afternoon, so I'm running a bit behind on the stuff I do most days. I'm hoping to fit in the last episode of Kannagi on the first disc, but that depends on how long it takes to finish everything else.
