We didn't really do much today, so I spent most of it sitting next to the Christmas tree. I started a new file in Prince of Persia and unlocked two powers, beat the final boss of God of War 2 in God difficulty (and still had very little luck making any further progress in Titan), and finally found the way to complete the descent of the Glissando Cliffs in Eternal Sonata, now that I've completely forgotten what I'm doing in Forte City (whose name I only remember because I looked at it on the save screen). We ate a few meals out, bought the fish for tomorrow's dinner, and Mom returned her defective Wii dance pad and exchanged it for a first-party one that works. The last family members arrived this evening, and promptly sicced a cat on Mom, drawing blood. Fortunately, they also decided to wrap their presents with ribbons and bows, which the cats will be eating for the next 34 hours or so until we get around to removing and discarding them. That should keep them distracted until she heals.

Someone at Outback recognized my Midori Days T-shirt. I don't think this was the first time that's happened, but I didn't know what to say, particularly since it came up in the form of his disappointment that I wasn't the one who'd ordered a Caesar salad. I have no idea what that was supposed to have to do with Midori Days. It probably means I should finsih the Vampire Hunter D crossover at some point, but... that's unrelated.

Anime fans are ubiquitous... people just aren't used to seeing us everywhere or recognizing us in most contexts.

Page Summary

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
