Instead of playing games today, I spent most of the day writing. I didn't write MUCH, but writing anything is more than I usually manage. I'll have to post a bit of what I wrote soon, just to see whether anyone thinks my take on the future of medical science is believable. Not that I'd change any significant aspects of it, but I might change some details based on the feedback.

Curt brought me to the members only event at Best Buy. We stopped at Chili's on the way, and it took so long to get our checks that there was a line to get in, but no big deal. I took advantage of some various discounts to pick up some things like a free PS3 Blu-Ray remote, a cheap universal programmable remote, and the first season of My Hime, which I'll add to my list later.

Since I'm under no real time pressure tomorrow (I'm only commuting across town, and we're not starting until 9... a far cry from driving to Crane and aiming to arrive at 8 or earlier), it could be a nice night to relax, but I'm going to try to hit the hay and maybe watch an episode of Life with Mello and Near in the morning if I have that much time to spare. Or just figure out how to program the universal remote and start having fun with that. Or watch some of the Fox shows I recorded tonight. Those will probably be Tuesday fare, though. Ahh, another week spent half at home. Comparative bliss.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
