The trip back went quite smoothly, and I finished reading Darkly Dreaming Dexter, which gave me a reason to start the first RahXephon novel (again). Dinner at Taco Hell was pretty interesting, though. The cashier didn't seem to know what she was doing. I'm half surprised the manager didn't just abandon the line and man the register after the number of times she had to correct orders. The woman in front of us ordered the Grande Meal (the one that comes with ten items, and you can mix and match tacos or burritos) with nachos on the side, which was advertised at a $2 cost, but was charged full price. Then Curt asked for his nachos with the sour cream (included in the price) on the side. She charged him for a full extra side of sour cream. She refunded both of them the price difference in cash, giving the state of Indiana a tidy profit of 8 cents or so all told. Not worth complaining about. My order came out fine, although the guy making the items mixed up the taco withn the Cheesy Gordita Crunch and the girl who knows me as a regular fixed it for him. I should know her name, or something about her, but I figure that would seem creepy, or actually BE creepy. If there's a difference.
Must remember to post my new chapter to the FFML this weekend... and to finish up my other story so I can post that too.
