Today's Bridge: Kelly and I were partners against Dan and Ken, but there wasn't much we could do. Our best was a 3NT contract off one... our hands were opposite-suited, and we each had singletons in the other one's suits, so I had no transportation.
Today's Work: More research into the problems at hand, including a prepared recommendation to put off doing the thing I know absolutely everyone really wants. I bet they still give it a high priority despite the warning that it's high risk, big effort, and we can't guarantee that it will work.
Today's Gaming: La Tale is finally out, so I spent the afternoon building up my two characters (I recreated both of the ones I had before... if you ever see a Nida or a Nido, that's me) and passing some items that Nido can use. Sadly, Nida got the Cart Beetle G quest, but Nido was the one who found one. I got bored with that eventually and moved on to God of War, FINALLY. I picked up my game at the Architect's Tomb, which you may remember as the place that features a fight against a Cyclops and a horde of Hellhounds. I managed to get through that with Rage of the Gods and a Poseidon's Rage, then a series of throws that prevented any of the dogs from growing, which was what made that scene so hard. Then, of course, was one of the most notorious parts of the game. God of War 2 has the translator, and the first game has the dreaded Harpy Room. I cleared it in about 12 minutes on Very Hard... and I was just short of orbs to build up the Souls of Hades to level 2, which would have been a decent help. It took me plenty of tries, but I made it through and got Pandora's Box. Oh yeah! Not much more left to do, but I suppose there's a fair bit.
No anime tonight because I really need to get to work early tomorrow... 8 o'clock meeting where things might turn into suck if I'm not there to make sure everyone understands the difference between what they're asking for and what they can get.
