Today's To-Do List:
watch lots of anime on DVDs
play video games
conduct E-mail business
I got the important things done, anyway. Something like six or seven hours of the first one, including intermittent breaks for meals and making egg salad, and I had a great time. I did read a few graphic novels, including Dragonball Z 21. Some great lines in there, like:
KRILLIN: Please, God, don't put me against them in the first round.
PICCOLO: God is Dende, you know.
And of course, Piccolo calls himself "Demon Jr." so as not to alarm anyone. Riiiiiiiiiiight. I also read Flame of Recca 11, and still in my queue at the moment are Yotsuba& 2, Yu-Gi-Oh Duelist 6, and Shutterbox 2.
I cracked up way too many times during Malcolm in the Middle and The Simpsons tonight. Maybe I am too easily amused. Can't imagine there's anything wrong with that, though.
I tried to burn a bunch of little video clips to VCD today, but Nero kept erroring out while decoding. It would always be at the same file if I tried over and over, but if I swapped that file to a different place or restarted the program, it would stop elsewhere. I may try again tomorrow afternoon, once the computer's had a chance to rest. I think the problem may be related to the DSL gateway kicking the desktop offline. I thought that had gone away when I switched to Azureus, but now I'm not even downloading files and it happens.
Today's new expletive: CORNDOGS! Which is prefaced by an unspoken "I can't believe I went to the store, remembered not only tissues but also deodorant, peanut butter and marshmallow fluff, got a loaf of bread on the way out, and even found the Little Debbies but still forgot the stupid ~" I don't think I'll need any this week, but I only have two left.
I can squeeze in the last episode of Yucie on the DVD before bed. I wasn't going to write any more of ADC chapter 11 anyway. Which does, in fact, imply that I wrote some. And correctly so.
