Moa: The King of Destruction

Nothing went right today, but at least it's over

Service today was pretty slow in general - I dropped off my car at the appointed time, then had to wait for the shuttle to show up, which was no surprise. But the shuttle was full, so I had to wait until it had dropped off a full load of passengers and came back for me. Then the shuttle driver passed my street and I had to wait until he'd dropped off everyone else - or rather, I really didn't feel like doubling back at that point. They replaced my brake pads, which was no surprise, but they also had to replace the calipers. Finally, when the car was done, the shuttle picked me up and then had to go halfway across town, into the middle of campus and some really slow traffic, to pick up another passenger and double back to get to the dealership. Once I got there, though, everything was quick and easy, if expensive. I didn't accomplish much work-wise, but I wasn't really expecting to. Then I went out to buy some food and AAA batteries, only to discover that some of the LCD segments in my Bridge game are dead, which makes it impossible to play. I'll have to contact either the distributor or the manufacturer to let them know and see if there's any way to get a working replacement. I rather doubt it - the units were on clearance, so they're probably all going to be defective.

If there was a bright spot, it's that after cooking it for what seemed like way too long, the meatloaf-stuffed bell pepper I got wasn't too bad. I could potentially be learning to not utterly hate peppers.
