It's still me. It will always be still me.

Okay, I think the week is finally picking up, in a way. It looks like we've got enough work to keep us pretty occupied for the next couple of weeks, which saves me from having to find work for us from the requirements for the next upgrade - which also means less time to get that one done, but we'll have much, much less time if we can't get THIS increment out the door.

There hasn't been much to occupy me in the evenings, though, particularly since I found a part of Dark Souls that I can't remember how to get past - obviously, leveling up and getting really strong armor and weapons would probably do the trick, as would heading back and buying some really powerful spells (possibly... having fewer casts of a spell that does more damage would probably roughly even out except that misses would be much more costly), but people beat this game at Soul Level 1 with no armor, weapons, magic, controllers, or even a copy of the game with their eyes closed, the volume off, and working the controller (which they don't have) with their tongues. I've seen videos of this. (I haven't actually watched the videos, but I've seen that they exist and have no reason to doubt that their contents are exactly what I imagined.) I can only conclude that I suck at the game for having to play it in order to get anywhere. Then again, if people have spent long enough playing God of War or Dante's Inferno or Super Mario Bros. that they can beat them without upgrades, who's the real loser?

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
