This weekend's manga haul: Alice in the Country of Clover 2, Arisa 8, Bakuman 14, A Certain Scientific Railgun 5, The Clockwork Sky 1, The Earl & the Fairy 3, Fairy Tail 20, 5 Centimeters per Second, Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden 10 (it still exists!), Gate 7 3, Genshiken Second Season 1, Gunslinger Girl 11-12, Itsuwaribito 6, Kamisama Kiss 10, Library Wars 8, Lizzie Newton: Victorian Mysteries 1, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya 13, Omamori Himari 8, Otomen 13, Psyren 6, Puella Magi Madoka Magica 2, and Soul Eater 10.

We stayed up late enough last night watching Doctor Who season 3 that I decided not to take the time to write an entry, but that was about it. We tried a few new places this weekend - Jersey Mike's subs, which we both enjoyed, and Teddy's Burger Joint in Metropolis mall, which had some great food and plenty of options. I beat two more bosses in Demon's Souls (only to discover that I don't have the stats for ANY of the weapons that would be able to clear the path to the Dragon God), then made sport of the Capra Demon and Gaping Dragon (admittedly on my second try - somehow, that tail did a lot more damage than it should have) after a cheating invader stopped my attempt to fight the NPC encounter nearby. I decided to go get some better armor before entering Blighttown, and once I had that, I decided to go home instead of going into Blighttown at all. The trip home was pretty smooth, and I think most of the water on my windshield came from my hood. It rained a bit when I went out for food, but that's good for the state and no more than a minor annoyance for me. I'm pretty much caught up on videos now, which leaves me the evening to do... something. It's a short work week ahead, but it's a critical one. I'm planning to promise to stay as late as I have to to get the job done right.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
