I didn't really forget to write last night's entry... I just didn't have time. Mom and I stayed up pretty late watching Doctor Who, getting through five episodes on Saturday and the last one on the second DVD this afternoon. I played a bunch of Dark Souls along the way, and we had lunch at the Trader's Point Bar & Grill (I think that's what it was called), which was pretty good. The sandwiches were just okay, but the appetizer was great. The manga I picked up while we were there were Air Gear 25, Call of Eden 6, GTO 14 Days in Shonan 4, and the third Hana-Kimi omnibus. In the morning, I took a look at some games Mom's been having problems with and determined that she would have more luck in Eternal Sonata if she spent some time leveling up and getting used to the fighting, while her problems with Rhythm Heaven Fever seemed to be related to the TV. It's weird, since I remember playing on that TV before and not having nearly as much difficulty, but when we moved the Wii to another TV, it became a lot easier for both of us. So she decided to leave it there and replace it with a cheap Blu-Ray player in her room to watch Netflix and, as an upgrade from the Wii, DVDs and Blu-Rays. Also, theoretically, Youtube videos and other app content, although our attempt to watch a single Youtube video on it ended in failure.

I did get the two Onimusha games I wanted, though, and I plan to spend what little time I have tonight testing them out. And maybe finally writing a check I need to mail in by the end of the month.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
