Today was an excellent day in most respects. Out of nowhere, we got our full team back - not just the few people who stayed on until we lost everyone, but almost more people than I know what to do with. Fortunately, we've got tons of problems, and they're enough to distribute among the team members in the short term. There is no long term. It's a tight deadline and we all know it, which is why I really don't like the idea of having to take time off to get my A/C fixed, but I think I'm going to have to. It's running full tilt to keep this place a little under 80, if it still is that cool, and while my collection of fans is keeping my bedroom feeling almost cold, I don't think this arrangement will last through the summer. Fortunately, it lasts well enough that I think I can afford to schedule the work rather than needing to treat it like an emergency. That may also have been due to a nasty-looking storm that doesn't seem to have left any signs of rain, but the clouds were dark and there was sheet lightning as I was driving home.

Now that I'm home, I've had the chance to test the SNES games I bought over the weekend. They all work, although only Breath of Fire actually worked the first time I put it in. Some of the games are pretty finicky. I still need to play Venetica, which I'll probably do when I'm done with videos for the night. I can't really work on the LP until I can operate without the fans - I could certainly shut them off to record commentary, but I don't think I want to do that.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
