Today's Manga: The first three Spice and Wolf novels, Skip Beat 28, Shugo Chara-Chan 4, Sakuran (rather an interesting premise, reminding me just a tiny bit of Saiunkoku, but by the author of the intruguing Sugar Sugar Rune), Rosario + Vampire Season 2 9, Negima 35, Fairy Tail 19, Durarara 3, D. Gray-Man 22, Bakuman 12, Air Gear 24, Dengeki Daisy 10, Afterschool Charisma 6, Angel Para Bellum 1 (by the author of Dance in the Vampire Bund... what's not to look forward to?), Jiu Jiu 1, The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-Chan 1, Soul Eater NOT! 1, Psyren 5, Is This a Zombie? 2, Dance in the Vampire Bund 12, and Alice in the Country of Clover 1 - where the other one I got last time was some sort of side story.

It was a pretty good day, for a day that includes an hour-long drive home to a house where the A/C is losing its edge. Mom and I watched another disc of Doctor Who, ate last night's leftovers, and discovered that there's a Squealers right near the Books-a-Million where we usually shop. However, we didn't go there. We just drove up to the Disc Replay down the road, where I bought all three Donkey Kong Country games for the SNES, the original Breath of Fire, a PS3 game called Venetica that I've never heard of but sounds really good, and as my free item, the first season of Moral Orel, just to see if it's any good. I considered Shaq Fu... but a $2 freebie is hardly worth getting for free.

And to cap it all off, they were out of carts at Kroger again, so I only bought as much as I could fit into one basket. I got all the essentials, but didn't buy fresh milk or sour cream. I expect I'll get some of those later in the week, perhaps if I go to Menard's for a replacement filter for the furnace - hoping that that's the problem. If not, it'll be a useful excuse to get away from work for a day. I need one of those.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
