I got everything I needed to get done today done early, except the laundry. And there's not a whole lot of effort in that - I need to go downstairs four times and move clothes around. Today took one more trip to restart the dryer after the power went out. Fortunately, I wasn't playing Dark Souls at the time. I was just watching a video. Firefox restored the tab for me, and I skipped to the part of the video where I'd left off. Fortunately, it was a very short blackout. I think the storms really helped, because it wasn't uncomfortably hot afterward. I went out in my raincoat and pants and was perfectly fine.

As for Dark Souls, I'm going to get to the beginning any day now. I've done three of the things for the next quest - I think, one of the objects I collected had a different name but counted as the same thing as the other ones - and I've heard the name of one other place in relation to this quest, but last time I went there, I couldn't find anything but locked doors and elevators that didn't work. Also enemies that I had to use items to kill, of course. There was one guy I could talk to whose only purpose was to heal a condition that if I had it, there's no way I'd survive long enough to get to him. Maybe he has a key and will give it to me now. There's also a castle guarded by a bunch of dragons, but I don't even know whether there's a way to open the door even if I kill all the dragons, which I've done a few times. Nobody tell me whether any of that stuff is right. I'm going to find out myself and maybe gain a few more Soul Levels before I can survive that long. Maybe I can raise my Strength to 50 so I can use a decent shield.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
