Today's Bridge: Nobody showed up. I know two of our usual players were wrapped up in the meeting I managed to get out of early (because I had so much to do and we'd just given a presentation about how critical our time was), but we might have had enough people with them. Otherwise, I was left with Rhythm Heaven, and it was a pretty good day. I got three new medals and two new Perfects (Dog Ninja on the final try and 2nd Remix on the second try), but I still can't get the medal for the drums. I always mess up on one of the fast parts. Took me way too many tries to get the medal for Big Rock Finale as well, but at least I got it in the end. I think I have 32 medals now.

The day was otherwise mostly unproductive. I spent my time on base cleaning out my E-mail inbox, then went to the lab, where E-mail went down shortly after I arrived. We had our usual daily meeting, then stayed to take a look at our trouble tickets and try to estimate how much effort they'd all take to do, both if we got experienced people back on the payroll and if we had to make do with people new to the project. That kept me half an hour late, since I had to arrive really early to get to the meeting on time, and I didn't sleep very well. Not sure whether to blame the pillow or just food. Guess I'll try again tonight, the one night when it's not really critical to be on time.

In all that, I STILL haven't found time to do commentary. At least I managed to watch the Korra finale last night. I liked most of it, but I can definitely see why so many people were disappointed. I think it could have been much better in a few ways. Actually, almost any change would have been an improvement. Oh well. Great series, lousy ending, considerably high probability that they won't do another season. There's still Doctor Who.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
