Today's Bridge: I actually had a hand worth bidding! I managed to make a 4H as well - Raymond opened 1NT, Ken overcalled 2S, and I had S A-K-x H J-10-x-x-x-x D x-x-x C x - a bit weak, but the distribution and the double control of Ken's suit made me bid 3H. I think it was Ken who raised to 3S, and I bid 4H rather than leaving it up to Raymond. He had S x-x H Q-x-x D A-Q-J-10-x C A-Q-J or so, which gave me two guaranteed heart losers and a likely diamond. The diamond finesse happened to work, giving me an overtrick. I made 4C in the first hand as well, sluffing my singleton spade on a heart that happened to set up after a 3-3 split for an overtrick - a classic case where we only made game because we didn't bid it. By comparison, my 3NT was pretty standard, although I misplayed it - I got lucky on a spade finesse, because had it not worked, I had no way to establish the queen of diamonds.

Today's Work: Just reading documentation, but it's important stuff. I have to decide, at least in part, how to make this happen. I need more information to do that, but I need to read enough of the documentation to understand what information I need so I can ask for it. My job is cool sometimes.

Last night, I stayed up a bit late playing through 999 so I could save at the start of the good ending and just play that at my next opportunity. I got just far enough to confirm that yes, it's the good ending, and then I pressed power instead of start. Never saved the whole time. Gotta play through again (time thirteen, I think) to finally see the good ending. At least I know to be careful next time. Also, why does the power button never work except the one time I don't want it to? Stupid 3DS.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
