Moa: The King of Destruction

Really, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Today's Bridge: Miraculously, we found eight people to play. I joined in and think I played pretty well, although I had some amazing luck with trump splits and critical finesses.

Today's Work: My task lead had a great idea for improving the program, and I spent the afternoon making it work. It seems to have improved things a bit, but it's hard to tell from a short test run, especially when hardware problems cause the same errors as the software problems we're trying to fix. They're working on that too. Then I got back to my desk to write my weekly status report, and I was locked out of my computer. Again, too late on a Friday to get it unlocked, so I have to remember to do that first thing on Monday. I hate this security system.

Then I came home, ate a quick dinner, then decided to play Dark Cloud in a stream for six hours or so instead of finishing watching the videos, reading the webcomics, or sleeping. Good times, and probably the most fun I've ever had playing the game, even though I screwed up a few important things. The programs actually behaved themselves the whole time, although the alternate streaming client I tried was horrible. I went back to the browser client and had no issues at all, aside from losing track of time and not recording the last part of the stream. I'll have to see how much I missed. But it might be fun to stream Dark Cloud on Friday nights and Lifeline on Tuesdays, at least until I finish Lifeline. It shouldn't take too long. One or two more nights, I hope. Then I'll have to pick a different game. I'm leaning toward Kya: Dark Lineage. But at the moment, I should be leaning toward bed instead.

Boredom can be a dangerous companion

Today's Manga: Kimi ni Todoke 4, Inu-Yasha 48, La Corda D'Oro 12, Lucky Star 5, and the first book of Ratman, which sounded interesting in about the same way that Kick-Ass did. Anime-wise, I picked up Slayers Evolution R and Strike Witches, and Super Mario Galaxy 2 because I was going to buy it eventually anyway.

On the way home, I saw where they're building a Five Guys. But it's not open yet, so I took another stab at getting a Burger King pork sandwich. It was actually better than I expected - I didn't think ketchup and mustard would go well with pork, but they do.

I'm trying to decide what to do with the rest of my evening. I could do another stream, but I have to think of a game worth doing that isn't Lifeline (which I play on Tuesdays) or Dark Cloud (which nobody wants to see more of so soon).
