Today's Work: Another round of not having the equipment to do our testing, and when we finally got some time on a system that had equipment, none of it worked.

No, I didn't waste my time going back to Best Buy. I'll take care of that this weekend as usual. The only interesting part of today is that I signed us up for AT&T U-Verse, because Comcast is planning to double our rate while decreasing our level of service. U-Verse will give us about the same service for half the monthly cost, with no setup fee because we're subscribing to Internet and TV services at the same time. I got an appointment in early January for the setup, at which point I'll cancel the Comcast account. It seems more sensible to call ahead of time and make sure it's canceled at the right time, but I've heard stories about their idiocy when it comes to handling cancelations, and they'll charge for the full billing cycle even if we only have service for a few days, like they did when we signed up three days before the end of a billing period. It's pretty shady. There are plenty of reasons to be glad we're getting rid of them.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
