Because I'm exceptionally bored, I'll just copy this one verbatim:

Leave me a comment and I will reply with why I like you. If I don't know you, I'll either make something up or tell you why I like your LiveJournal. You must pay for the privilege by posting a message like this one on your LiveJournal.

I may hold people strictly to that last one, like if I don't see that message in your LJ, I'll tell you why I don't like you instead. Mostly "because you want something for nothing, bitch." And that sort of thing. But lest anyone think I say that because of a failful mood, I used my universal cure for failure last night by doing something I was supposed to fail and failing to fail. In this case, Super Mario Galaxy and the second quest's version of the Purple Comet at the Toy Time Galaxy. Took me about five or six tries to beat that, and now all that's left is the simple-by-comparison Dreadnought Galaxy, which I'd have proceeded to beat had I not been low on time. I watched the first episode of Rumbling Hearts a bit early, and I think it would have been a better experience had I not read the summary on the back of the box, because it was a relatively nice high school love story of the "I have no idea why these people are attracted to each other at all" variety, and I kept wondering when one of them was going to be hit by a car. That sort of ruins the mood.

Through the snow and the ice

Today's Bridge: We changed to the new method of dealing with kings, but we had eight people, so it was irrelevant so far. Kelly and I partnered against Mike and Keith, and the power was with us. Mike played into my hand once when I bid an intended sacrifice at 4S with S A-Q-10-9-x-x H 9 D Q-10-x C A-J-x or so to Kelly's S 6 H Q-x D A-J-x-x-x-x-x C K-Q-x or so... Mike cashed his king of hearts, then led a spade, finessing out Keith's king. I lost the jack while pulling the rest of the spades, and the finesse for the diamond king failed, but the rest was simple. The opponents started with a 2C and ended with a 4C making 5... I think Mike underbid his hand in that one.

Today's Work: The big challenge was setting up something that we had working months and months ago on the current system. Things have changed a lot since then, and it wasn't so simple, but I managed to make it work enough.

Today's Gaming: I finished Super Mario Galaxy, except I only played through the bonus level once. I don't know whether anything special will happen if I do it again, but considering that it IS the reward of rewards... I doubt it. While I was playing that, I didn't notice why they were doing historical research in Terminator. I don't think anything in Heroes was surprising, but since when has it been?

I finally figured out why I've been having so much trouble in Guitar Hero. I'm using a guitar. I should be using drums.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
