Today's meeting was cut for language, you pussies!Collapse )

So I half-watched the Terminator Heroes Chronicles as usual (since when is Hiro that obsessed with turtles not of the teenage mutant ninja variety? Not that I paid much attention to what he was saying, but all the thoughts Parkman got from him were about the turtle) and discovered, much to my chagrin, that it's impossible to watch Zero Punctuation videos and do anything else at the same time. Yet another anime-less night, but largely because I really wanted to get another scene of FCM written. You can probably imagine why, assuming you read the parts I posted the other day. I assume you did and are therefore not a [language that would have been more appropriate under the cut, only I ran out of it some time ago], but I'm probably wrong. There's another scene that I'll probably put in the middle if I write it at all, but it would just be a rehash of stuff I've written already, and I like to think my intended audience would be able to figure out what that scene would tell them without me shoving it in their faces. The only purpose such a scene would serve would be to humanize the doctors a bit more and show their attitudes toward the events described in that scene... and to be honest, I don't know what their attitudes would be. I ran through that scene several times in my head, and I don't know who should be compassionate and who should be disconnected. Or should they both care? I mean, if you knew that THAT had happened... is there anyone who'd be considering the scientific importance of the results before asking how the people involved were doing?

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
