And it's apropos, too.

I actually got the grape-squishing reference in tonight's Family Guy. I remember that clip.

I played more God of War 2 today, but I didn't beat it. I didn't try the Impossible Corridor of Death very many times, though. I should be able to get through it when I put in the effort. I elected to do some cleaning instead, so that I could get to my scanner and make the icon I'm using here. I also took the time to reprogram my remote again, so I could put that cable away at last. But that's really all a coincidence. I was going to make another icon, but it didn't scale very well. You can almost make out the text in this one. It loses a bit of the humor, but I'll always know what it says, and that's the important part.

My baking experiment today was an instructive failure that tasted pretty good. The lesson is that croissant dough comes rolled, and unrolling is a much more effective way of getting it into sheet form than trying to press it flat. Fortunately, I only did that with about a third of the roll. Yeah, I don't know how I managed that either. But aside from using a little bit more cream cheese and cutting the dough a bit thinner, I think I'm going to stick with the same method I used this time for the official batch. They passed my taste test, anyway.

More writing, in a manner of speaking. I think the conversation is really awkward, but it's about an awkward subject, so maybe that's okay. The exciting part is coming soon.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
