Up and down all freaking day

Today's Manga: Spiral 5, Zatch Bell 21, Kitchen Princess 8, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya 1, Zombie Loan 4, and Angel Diary 7. Not too bad.

Today's Anime: Claymore 1 (would have been a good Christmas list candidate... oops), and Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-Chan.

Today's Gaming: I bought Infinite Undiscovery, another former Christmas list candidate, because it was on sale for $20 less. Sadly, while I was downloading the extras for it, my system finally gave up the ghost. When it works now, it only runs for a short time, and often enough, it gives me the red ring of death. The error code says it's a core processing problem, likely cold solder. That's the problem that's made the system notorious. The good news is that it's a warranty repair. The bad news is that I won't be around to mail it in until next week. One day earlier, and I could have made a run to UPS and have it out for repair while I'm gone. Oh well. Since when has a Microsoft product failed in a convenient way? I did at least play a bit of Heavenly Sword... but I can't beat Whiptail yet. I guess there's some trick to blocking her attacks other than taking the appropriate stance.

In addition to all of that, I bought the fourth Indiana Jones movie on Blu-Ray. Yeah... I know. But I've got the first three. I collect.

After all that, and because I couldn't really play Infinite Undiscovery without a working system, I decided to try Big League Haircuts. It's a bit more expensive than Great Clips, but it includes shampoo and conditioner, a shoulder massage, and free neck trims between visits. The service was great too, and as it's out of the way and has just moved into town, it wasn't busy, so there was almost no wait time. I'll have to recommend them around work.

Finally, purpleparadox preread FCM chapter 3 for me, so it's officially published. Enjoy.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
