Today's Bridge: Several people COULD have been number eight... I watched the game, but probably shouldn't comment.

Today's Work: Finally, some lab testing with most of our ship-representative equipment. And things are working REALLY well. We've solved most of our problems, possibly including some that we thought were inherent to programs we have no control over. We did some things wrong and screwed up the way we were using those programs... oops. I think the task lead was more on the ball with finding those than I was, which makes sense, since he's been working with the code all along and I've tried to avoid it, but it was definitely a team effort.

Today's Debate: I notice that McCain has a lot of Republican presidential heroes and doesn't believe U.S. troops can enter a country without invading it. Most of the rest of the debate was the same stuff we've heard in the political ads.

I got a bit of a shock/laugh this morning. Barnes & Noble sent the usual E-mail with new releases that might interest me, and alongside the ones I knew about like Beauty Pop 9 and Time Stranger Kyoko 2, they had My Dearest Devil Princess 5. This was a surprise, because I've only got the first two books. I checked the link, and it led to the plot summary and cover design for book 5, but the series listing only has 1-3, with 3 available for preorder and releasing in November. 5 doesn't even show up in the search. I did some more research, and Anime Castle has both 3 and 4 available for preorder, and that's it. How B&N got a listing for 5 this far ahead, I have no idea, but it's not even listed as a preorder. It's "out of stock". I wonder how they managed to sell out so quickly when the book hasn't been published yet.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
