I played a bit more God of War today... breezing through Medium difficulty is just embarrassing. I haven't used the Blade of Artemis yet, and the only magic I've used (other than the required uses of Medusa's Gaze and Zeus' Fury to solve the relevant puzzles) has been one use of Army of Hades for the Harpy room, and a couple of Poseidon's Rages for the Sacrifice of Hades... they make it so easy. I did have to use Rage of the Gods once, when surrounded by about four Cerberus and a bunch of their babies, but they really tore me apart and I STILL beat it in one try. What's up with that? Well, mainly, it's because I'm playing through for fun, so I want a nice, easy experience. It's pretty much impossible to die except from falling in this difficulty, once you know how to fight as well as I do (and I'm no expert, but getting as far as I have in the highest difficulty of each game takes SOME degree of skill!), so it's just pure fun. I chose Final Fantasy 8 for background while watching the new Fox cartoons, and finished collecting all the cards. I also finally saw the effects of collecting the Timber Maniacs magazines and read the rest of Selphie's webpage. Pretty interesting stuff. No matter how much I explore, there's always something about that game I still didn't know.

That's about it for today. I wasted most of the morning playing the Hoshi Saga series of games... I needed some hints on the first one, but cleared the second and third entirely on my own, often having no clue how. It just does that.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
