Did I just see that?

There was a commercial for Juicy Fruit gum, with an updated, almost country rock version of the old "It's Gonna Move Ya" jingle. I didn't think companies ever used old jingles again... but there you go. It almost makes up for the new Fox show, "Hole in the Wall". As far as I can tell, it's a Japanese game show-inspired show where the contestants have to fit themselves through holes in walls that move along a conveyor belt or be pushed into the goo. It could well be amusing, but somehow, I don't expect much. I'll probably watch it tomorrow just because I plan to watch "Fringe", just to see what it's all about.

As for Sarah Connor Chronicles... they came very close to making me swear off the second season. I'll stick with it, though.

Today's Bridge: We gathered eight, although several people offered to sit out if we had enough. I don't think anybody actually ended up sitting out.Collapse )

Today's Work: I signed up for the last online course I need for my certification and completed about 1/4 of it. Yeah... it's not that bad. Same stuff I've done in all the other courses, but less of it and a bit more detail. It's almost intuitive by now. I could probably do reasonably well on the exams without even going through the lessons. The answers are "True", "True", "All of the above", "Yellow, but only on Tuesdays", "Wednesdays, but only on rye", "Eleven", "Dumbo", and "Stop ackin' like a bluhy Irushmen!"

My back still hurt early on in the morning, but it feels much better now. Even if I bend forward, I can only tell that it hurts because I know it's coming. Looks like I might be ready for all I can eat again next weekend... and Applebee's just happens to be having such a special...

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
