Crisis averted.

If you consider my not taking a vacation this month to be a crisis, anyway. The problem couldn't hide forever, and finally manifested itself in the face of our debug statements. They didn't seem to tell us much, though... the last message we received before a crash was a fairly inocuous one that we've been using for ages without a problem. But we got suspicious and investigated it anyway, and were soon able to reproduce our crash by flooding the system with those messages. Having narrowed the problem down to that message, we figured out pretty quickly what was wrong and how to fix it. So things look pretty good - there's still a problem relating to one component, which we intend to try to track down tomorrow, and that should be just about everything we need to do.

Today's Bridge: We scrounged enough people for two tables, so Raymond and I took on Mike and Dan. It came out pretty close, but we pulled it together at the very end.

I spent some time this evening on the phone with someone I haven't talked to in a very long time. It's a shame I don't call people more often, but it's usually only if I have a good reason. I never do.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
