It has to have been longer than that.

I finally got around to balancing my Excel checkbook... and it included the charges from the Weird Al concert at the beginning of July. Since then, I've made two trips to Virginia, gotten most of the way through Final Fantasy 8, and basically gone through what feels like many months of all the stuff of life, in about a month and a half. If only the week or two of vacation coming up would do that. I doubt they will.

There was some excitement tonight after I downloaded and ran the trial version of the Strong Bad game - the first time, I hit something on the keyboard (no idea what) that crashed the game and corrupted some system files. I had to quit a game of Albatross 18 for the first time ever because the graphic problems were bothering me so much. (Also, I hate everything about the game and never want to play it again, but of course, I have no choice in the matter.) A System Restore fixed it, though. Fortunately, there was a System Update a few days ago. I had to reinstall that update, but no problems now. And I'm even using high resolution in Albatross now... I might start having luck with Pangya again, when I'm being forced to play it against my better judgment.

Speaking of non sequiturs, ankita_1 is running a drive to raise money for the American Cancer Society. It seems like this is the time of year for charity drives... I've already given to two others just this weekend. But go check it out.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
