Happy birthday to skjam... I see your entries sometimes, so I know you're still around. I may need to send you another copy of And Justice For All chapter 6, because I think the first one disappeared into the void who knows how long ago.

Today's Bridge: We were doing pretty well until the end, when Dan jumped even after he'd opened 2C, and we ended up in 6D, which he played like notrump until Raymond ruffed in. Oops. Off three doubled really hurt, and there was nothing I could do about it. Sometimes, I hate being dummy.

Today's Gaming: I finally did it. I completed a Myst game without any hints whatsoever. Granted, it was Exile, which seems to have been a lot simpler than the first two games, and there are still a few areas where I wouldn't be able to tell you what I did or repeat it. Also, I missed a set of pages, but I know which Age they're in, and I'll just have to go find them. Now to hunt down or conveniently order a copy of Myst 4 and 5.

I can't decide whether to request a few hours off next Thursday to go to a Weird Al concert in Indianapolis. On one hand, it's a Weird Al concert. On the other hand, it's an unusual event, and those stress me out. Still, the day after will be a holiday, so I've got a long weekend. Decisions, decisions. Like what to get Mom for her birthday. As it's already too late to get anything to her on time, I'm determined to choose the right present. She suggested one, but I'm not through evaluating the other options at my disposal. I want it to be something as special as it is to her liking.

I started reading Le Chevalier D'Eon this morning... certainly nothing like what I expected. The anime might actually be interesting. I've also just started Me and My Brothers, but no opinion yet. I think it'll make an interesting contrast to The Wallflower, anyway.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
