It begins. Or something.

I finally made a real start on my taxes today, tallying up all my out-of-state purchases. That's usually the most time-consuming part of the whole process. This time, it looks pretty good... I didn't make nearly as many online purchases as I did in previous years. It looks like the year I finally increased my state tax withholding is the year when I didn't need to.

Today's Movie: I decided to watch Premonition, just for the heck of it. I had my suspicions after watching it, but indeed, the Wikipedia crowd noticed the continuity flaws as well. There were plenty of clever M. Night Shyamalamadingdong-esque things they could have done to get around the disparity, but they opted for the "let's show something that's COMPLETELY AND OBVIOUSLY WRONG and just trust that nobody will be paying enough attention to realize it" angle. I haven't felt this insulted by a "horror" movie since I realized that the deaths in Final Destination 2 happened in reverse - and I think the same sort of thing happened in 3. Otherwise, not a bad movie overall... except that there's really no point to it. It just happens, or doesn't, or half-and-half, and then you watch the documentary that shows all the days in order. And Sandra Bullock lasts an entire movie without losing her identity, driving a bus, or wiping her ass with seashells.

Today's Gaming: A bit of Two Thrones, a bit of Ratchet Future, a little bit of Sorcerer's Stone... and there's time for more if I feel like it. I might go for some Guitar Hero and make myself feel miserable with failure before bed.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
