Is this a "normal" schedule?

Tomorrow will be another shared birthday between kawanee and patches365. I don't know if either of them reads this, but if they do... your birthdays are an hour too early!

I woke up way too early and managed to get to work on time... aside from the usual almost falling asleep, I made it through the day and did some useful stuff. I've got a newfound appreciation for using the copy constructor when putting Java objects into structures. Good old pointers and their fickle natures.

Today's Bridge: Paul was really out of it, so his bidding wasn't right, and he may or may not have been able to make the 4S contract if he'd kept the high spades in my hand to cover the club void.

Today's Gaming: Mostly a marathon session of Blue Dragon, trying to get past the area where I was and get my party back into fighting shape. That's done, and I'm at the area I played from the demo, where the timer counts down as you explore Nene's ship. Now that I've got a party I built up myself, and I'm familiar with the abilities they have, I'm doing MUCH better. Here's what I'm talking about... cut for the disinterested.Collapse ) Also, a bit more Brawl, but just a few events on Easy. I've been demoralized enough lately.

Curt was wrong about Guitar Hero and Aerosmith... "Last Child" is an encore song in 2, and it's one of the ones that was featured in Virtual Guitar. It just makes it all the more striking that they're making an Aerosmith edition of Guitar Hero, after having made an Aerosmith version of Virtual Guitar. I guess it proves that no matter how you slice it, Aerosmith has the most songs with the most interesting guitar parts. Meanwhile, I want a Guitar Hero track for "Eternity". The guitar solo probably rivals most of what's already in the games.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
