The whole day was lab integration - a few minor fixes, as I'd predicted, largely centering around units. Then we spent hours trying to figure out how to change the color scheme of the contractor's program to look more like ours. In the end, I took a look at their code and the documentation he pointed me to, figured out the basic strategy, and left the details of most of the rest of the implementation up to him while we both put our heads together for ideas. It would have been much simpler if we could have run the program on his computer instead of having to copy it to ours every time, but such is computer design. I think he also had a giant code file, when we prefer to have lots of smaller ones. I'd never truly appreciated how handy that is until I sat through so many compile cycles.

Even though I haven't watched the latest Terminator episode yet (I didn't get home until after 7), Real Life Comics has a point as always. And now, as much as I'd love to play a bit of Blue Dragon before bed, I think I'll pull out Guitar Hero 2 instead and maybe even some Death Note.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
