Short update for a long day.

Not much happened today. I bought The Wallflower 14 and School Rumble 8 at Borders, and Jing: King of Bandits 7th Heaven and the full Lost Universe series at Worst Buy. We had a good breakfast at Denny's, and I watched the first DVD of Death Note in one sitting. Animation didn't really do much for the story, since it wasn't a very animated story to begin with, but the music in particular sets a great mood that makes me want to keep watching even though I already know the story. But I only got that out of the way so I can start the final DVD of Haruhi Suzumiya.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is really hard. I think the controls and camera angles contribute to that more than any inherent difficulty. I decided to put it up and play Warrior Within instead. That should tell you how hard it is. I also failed to make any progress in Blue Dragon, thanks to a random encounter with an enemy that's probably a bit too tough to be tackling just yet. I got careless right at the end, but I think I should be using area attacks like Mow Down and Water instead of normal attacks to prevent the last one remaining from casting its big spells. I wasn't quite ready to take 60 HP damage per character.

I did manage another hole in one in Albatross 18 (Blue Lagoon 2... the ball actually spun all the way around the edge of the cup before falling in), in the same round as a Beam Impact Albatross into a 9m headwind (my drive on Blue Lagoon 15 went a bit long due to the tailwind and nearly fell off the island). Still not a record, though, whereas I beat my old Shining Sand record this evening. I've now got -22 there and on West Wiz. Hardly impressive in the grand scheme of things, but I really don't play that much anymore.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
