Moa: The King of Destruction

If we let this news go extinct, the universe will be destroyed

Today's MDN: Stories of Japanese urologists. See the story of the girl who goes from boyfriend to boyfriend, acting as a chlamydia farm, the self-circumcisions gone wrong, and all the men lining up for prostate massages from a male doctor.

Woman wears a "Princess" visor and tries to rob a bank with a toy gun. The inconvenient truth is that while wearing a visor may hide your identity, it gives you a new one - that woman with the visor that says "Princess". And that's a lot easier to track down.

A man accidentally fires a real gun in a Wal-Mart bathroom. I don't care what anyone says - straight up can't possibly be the safest place to point a gun. If it goes off at a high angle like that, there's no telling when or where the bullet will land.

Squirrels steal flags from a cemetery. Those sneaky bastards! They've expanded their crack-smuggling ring into other bounties!

German thief steals clothes and shoes that don't match, then returns to the store wearing the stolen clothes. Yes, some people are just THAT stupid. Like suspected drunk driver Paris Hilton, who claims she was speeding because she wanted a burger. From the hopefully inaptly-named In-N-Out Burger. I was sick last night... don't need any more of that, thank you.

The FBI is helping Italian police unravel the code hidden in a Bible. Specifically, a Bible belonging to a Mafia boss who was known for creating puzzles and had underlined passages in the Bible. Because nobody who actually studies the Bible could be a criminal. [insert picture of George W. Bush here]

Remember McDowell's restaurant in Coming to America? The way they parodied McDonald's and got into trouble for it? A Malaysian restaurant called "McCurry" has been ordered to change its name and appearance for doing just that. They claim it stands for "Malaysian Chicken Curry", but if that's true, why put the first C in lowercase? Call it "M. C. Curry"... I don't think the Hammer's around anymore to complain about that one.

Today's Bridge: Pretty sure we won. We made a game early on, and made our 4D in the final hand.

Not much to say about today... last night, right after my shower, I got sick. I'm told it's been going around and wasn't likely related to anything I ate, but I already didn't eat my last doughnut, fearing the worst of it. It's pretty stale anyway. The chicken and stuffing seemed okay, but then, I haven't showered yet tonight, so I may be minutes away from a relapse.

I read the second book of Ark Angels this morning, and while there's not much to say about it, I'm looking forward to when they get around to some more explaining. Also Jing Twilight Tales 1... I still have no real idea what's going on, but it's funny enough to keep me reading. Then I played some Xenosaga... yes, played. I didn't really DO anything, but I fought some monsters (MOMO kicks ass, I tell you), then played poker until I could buy the promo cards, bought them, decided they were useless, and played a few rounds of Xenocard proper. Next time, I'll go on to the Proto Whatchamacallit and maybe advance the plot a bit. Now that the third game is out, I should be able to pick up the second one cheap, if I want it. Tomorrow's book day, though, and I anticipate a large Anime Castle purchase to follow the Borders run.
