Moa: The King of Destruction

Ooh, while I'm thinking about it... it's not bad_service or anything like that, but I had an interesting time setting up my new E-mail account (it's at insightbb.com... you can probably guess the address from that). I'd been hunting around on the main Insight page at insight-com.com for a long time, and while it had information for accessing an already established account through Outlook Express, there was no indication of how to create it. So while I was moving stuff from the old apartment, I found a blue sheet with channel descriptions for their digital service on one side, and the insightbb.com link among the various services listed on the other side. Great! Progress! So I went there, hunted around on the site, read the few help pages that would load... nothing that didn't require me to log in using an established account. So I finally bit the bullet and hit the Live Chat button. It was painfully slow, but the guy was very helpful and gave me the account information when I gave him my cable bill account number and phone number. (If only they'd ever sent that to me in the first place...) I typed in "OK, thanks" and hit send... and it never sent. The window stopped responding completely. Eventually, he asked if there was anything else he could help me with, and I had to close the window because I couldn't do anything else. I hate that. I also don't think I've seen any FFML posts to the new address despite having subscribed it, which is suspicious.

What brought this all on is that my sbcglobal.net address has finally been closed, so if anyone's been using that address, it's no good anymore. Switch to insightbb.com and you should be fine.

Tomorrow is hicat's birthday! MEEP! Wait, that's someone else. Um... TOES! No, that's someone else too. Uh... JINJO! That'll do.

Today's Bridge: Steve bid us an unfortunate 5C Dbl off 5, although he could have held it to no worse than off 2 by capitalizing on the extremely long diamonds he'd set up in my hand and pulling the rest of the trump. The resulting 600 point swing made the rest of the rubber pretty pointless. He also went for 6H in the first hand when I hadn't promised him any at all. Only off one, but that was a lucky break.

Today's Target Run: It made great fodder for a customers_suck post, and I wasn't the sucky customer. I so rarely get to see sucky customers I can post about.

Having read D. Gray-Man 1 over the weekend and Fullmetal Alchemist 6 this morning, I had a brilliant yet obvious idea while listening to the third FMA soundtrack on the way home. Having said that much, you already know what it is. Wasn't it obvious? Anyway, while those of you who know about those series can already guess what the story idea is, I haven't decided which plot to go with. Collapse ) And I've now spoiled my story idea for anyone who would have cared about it.

Not really sure what to do now, although I'm considering starting over in Skies of Arcadia Legends. It's fun.
