Moa: The King of Destruction

(no subject)

Today's Bridge: Mike showed up late, so I got to play. ^_^ I always hated when I was late and everyone started without me, particularly when I had to work, but I can accept it if it works in my favor at times like today. They started by setting us a few times, but we got back with a three-trick doubled set, and finally managed to make a 4C contract where the overtrick came down to making a finesse in the right direction, and I picked the wrong one. We still won, and even set their final 1NT even though we'd still have won had they made it. Dan just set up Steve's long heart and diamond and left me holding the good spades.

Today's peer review: Over ten pages of comments now... not as much as it sounds, considering that the comments themselves are only one column of a table, but there are 70 of them, and I'm still not done. I also plan to make an attachment with comments for a section that needs a lot of work.

Today's KH2: I got to the final boss, but of course, there was more to do. I've only got one world in which I need to accomplish any specific objectives, but I'm short a lot of Synthesis materials, so I need to go collect those. It's just amazing to see all those Mickey symbols everywhere in the journal and know that I'm almost done.

Today's SotN: I picked up Castlevania: Symphony of the Night again, since sakanagai was playing it recently, and started over a few times until I could beat Dracula at the beginning without losing. It wasn't that hard, really. So now I'm exploring the castle and looking for some stuff to do. Always fun.

It's after midnight, so I'm going to call it quits here. I don't know what I'll be doing tomorrow, but it should involve some moving, some game-playing, and hopefully book-shopping and cell phone discount-dealing. Maybe even some Read or Die, although I'm not holding my breath.

Today's Manga: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure 4, Rurouni Kenshin 27, Bleach 13, and Neon Genesis Evangelion Angelic Days 1. I also bought a new Sudoku book and the ninth set of Mystery Science Theater 3000, which includes the classic "The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies" and, if the label doesn't lie, another elusive episode from the first season. I also moved the last piece of furniture to the house, filled the Brita, and watched the rest of Red Dwarf season 8. I'm just finishing the deleted scenes now. Oh, and I got a brand-new LG phone, which I should eventually be able to put a ringtone on. I've customized it a bit, but I'll need a USB data adapter to get my own pictures and ringtones into it. I love the voice dialing.
