I recorded the first video for the Dominion LP this morning, and put it up for critique until tomorrow, when I plan to publish it unless there's more to do. Getting that ready to post took most of the day, honestly, although part of that was streamlining the script template so I can handle future videos with a minimum of additional work, including such nice touches as mixing in the commentary track if it exists but ignoring it if it doesn't (and reporting any other errors as normal so I'm not confused about why stuff doesn't work), handling two-part raw videos smoothly (a technique I've used before and just copied for this script), and a variable at the top so I can switch between the raw and final versions of the video without having to comment and uncomment lines, the way I've been doing it all along. I even used an old technique to grab the script filename so I can just rename the script and pull in new video parts, changing only things like the audio commentary track offset and the actual timeline edits.

The strange thing is that after all the carb-heavy and sugary foods I've been eating all week, my blood glucose was way down this morning. I can only assume that all the sugar got my insulin working after it atrophied or something, because otherwise, this data makes no sense. It'd be nice if going back to that kind of diet fixes my vision problems too, but even if it does, it'll probably take a long time.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
