Just tying up a few loose ends

Today's Bridge: A fairly entertaining day. I think I underbid S A-10-9-8-x-x D K-x C K-Q-J-x-x in the first hand. I opened 1S in fourth seat, and when Ryan responded 2D, I bid 3C, which he passed with S x-x H Q-x-x D A-x-x-x-x C A-8-x. Ken led the queen of spades, which I ducked, and a second spade to my ace. I cashed the king of clubs, and when both opponents followed low, I led my low spade, which Ken ruffed with the nine and I overruffed. I led the eight of clubs back to my queen, and both remaining clubs fell, but that didn't matter - I was already up. I don't think we could have found slam, but we should have been in game at least. I think a 4C bid might have gotten us there. Sadly, that was the last of our fortune, as the opponents bid and made every remaining contract. At least a few of them were unstoppable, but I think we gave up one or two with imprecise defense.

The new version of our software released today. We should have it available for download tomorrow. This is what happens when different levels of management don't communicate properly. Fortunately, I was there to handle things, like I do.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
