The ending of Goodnight Punpun was

Today's Bridge: Not a good day for our side. The opponents started with a 3NT where Brent made his traditional play of cashing his winners first, but it worked this time because I had two doubleton queens. Then Dan, my partner, declared four partscores in a row and only made one of them. The trump splits were pretty horrible the whole time, and I missed a good chance to leave his 1D response when I'd opened 1C - I raised to 2D on six diamonds to the top four and the ace of spades on the side. He made a 3S against a rough split by ruffing diamonds with my little trumps, and that was the only positive score we found.

Today's Work: Still working on a problem, and Brent had to leave early, so I didn't get to try my solution until I got home. It looks good, but it's tough to say that there can't be any negative side effects with a change like this. I'm hoping to show it to the team tomorrow and maybe get buy-in for it.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
