Shawarma chicken seems way too filling

Today's Bridge: We ran long because there was a scheduled power outage that ended up not affecting us. We had a lot of good hands, starting with a 3S that I only made with an overtrick because the opponents didn't cash their four tricks off the top, and I was able to get rid of my hearts. We had great distribution, but our power was lacking. We finished the game with a 2NT with a couple of overtricks when the opponents couldn't figure out which minor to attack and gave me time to set up my weak but long suits while I still had stoppers everywhere else. Jerry went for 2NT when I had five diamonds to the A-K - I underled them, and Dan C.'s Q-x was exactly what I needed to bring in the suit and cash the ace of hearts for the set - and we had one more trick to take eventually. Ken came to sit in for Jerry while we were playing a 3H Dbl - with an overtrick, since I suppose Dan H. had most of his power tied up in diamonds and Dan C. was void. The opponents fought well, but they found themselves arguing for far too long over non-fits, ending up in 4C a bit short - I had S K-x-x-x H J-10 D A-x-x C A-9-x-x, and Dan led a spade to my king and Dan H.'s ace. Dummy produced S x-x H A-K-Q-x-x-x D J C J-x-x-x. Dan H. ran the king and queen of clubs, which I ducked, but seeing the split, he decided to lead a diamond, which Dan C. took before it got around to me. I think Dan C. cashed a spade winner at this point, and Dan H. ruffed the next spade in dummy and cashed two hearts, throwing a spade and a diamond, but when he led a third heart, I ruffed with the nine and he overruffed with the ten. He ruffed a diamond back to dummy, then tried another heart. I ruffed with the ace and cashed the ace of diamonds, leaving Dan H. the final club for his ninth trick. We eventually won that rubber as well, with a contract that I thought would be a sacrifice, and the opponents finished in 4H, losing only the ace of diamonds - and had we not led a diamond, we wouldn't have taken that either.

Today's Work: I was making a simple problem very difficult, but to be fair, I had a few typos that created unrelated problems that looked like I was doing something wrong. We're still considering various parts of the system and how they should behave as we change other parts of it. I'm always spotting things we've missed.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
