A job well done is a job done well

Today's Bridge: We were doing pretty well at first, even though I wimped out of bidding game when I'd overcalled with a sub-minimum hand and ended up with a couple of overtricks. The opponents had a bidding miscommunication and ended up in a slam that they didn't make, and we finished our game with a rough 3S contract when Dan H. made a forcing bid that I don't think he'd intended to be forcing. The opponents were far enough behind by the final hand that they needed a slam to win, so Dan C. bid it, and it depended on two finesses and a 3-3 trump split. All of that worked out, though, and Ken pulled it home.

Today's Work: We finished the rest of the open work without incident, and I delivered a disc to our CM lead. With that out of the way, most of the team is taking tomorrow off, and I've decided to join them. Aside from some unfortunate family news that came in tonight, it should be a nice long weekend. I've got some LP work to do, and lots of gaming to think about doing and probably not get around to. Also two bookcases I should build.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
