I had a full day today. I went across town for lunch to see whether my tires are actually having problems, and they are. Unfortunately, it was late enough that I couldn't make it back to the tire place, and they're closed until Tuesday, when I have to go back to work. I'll check the pressures tomorrow morning to see whether there's a noticeable difference. If so, I can equalize them and see whether there's a leak. If not, I'll have to take the car in on Tuesday to see whether they can find anything wrong with it. I also recorded a few videos for a new LP, which was more difficult than I expected because I forgot that I'd never set up the new desktop to use the HD-PVR 2. I tried to find the component video adapter for the PVR Rocket, but I couldn't find it, so I just installed the drivers for the 2 and got that set up. Something about either the game or the encoding was really off, and the quality was horrible, so I played around with swapping cables and encoding until I finally found that using MP4 instead of MT2S as the container seems to have eliminated the problem. I'm encoding all of the videos so I can see whether there's a noticeable quality difference between the two (once I've cut out the parts with the problems), and if there is, I'll just start the game over and re-record the earlier parts. The problem with that is that it would make me look almost competent at the game, and that's not desirable for a Nidoking LP.

I've got some plans for tomorrow, so I'll have to work around those whatever I do. But recording and doing commentary really doesn't take that long. It's mainly the editing and cleanup that tends to take a while. I can generally do any of those things in the evening after work.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
