I spent yesterday flying home with a headache - sadly, I had to throw my headache medicine away before getting on the plane, which is when the headache started. At least I managed to eat enough meals to take all of my medicine for the day. I got to Mom's house pretty late, so I wanted to go right to bed. Today, I woke up pretty early (even in Indiana time - earlier still in California time), hung out with Mom for a few hours, then came home. The house was in pretty good condition - I've got cobwebs growing in inconvenient places that haven't been used in a while, like the front door, but everything was where I'd left it, and none of the phone messages I had were relevant at all. I think I got two scams (one of which continued into a second message) and twenty-one hang-ups. I briefly considered doing something responsible today, but aside from unpacking enough that I can spend a night here, I didn't feel like going anywhere. I walked a long way for dinner, to keep up the habit, and played a bit of Generator Rex. I was only planning to give it a few minutes to see if it worked, but I ended up playing through the first two levels. It's surprisingly fun. Tomorrow, I need to do the usual grocery shopping, and I also want to run to Best Buy. Not only do I need to start making arrangements to replace my washing machine, but I also noticed that the headphones I usually travel with are getting ratty. The foam fell off one of the earpieces. It's fine other than that, but I don't really want to mess with it. The headset I use for LP work is also getting old, and one of the earpieces no longer works most of the time, so I should replace both of them. One stop should cover both purposes. I also have to adjust to my own time zone by Monday morning, when I have to go back to work.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
