You win some, you lose some.

Today didn't go as smoothly as yesterday did - we got in this morning to discover that one of the test computers had eaten its boot sector, so the test director spent most of the morning setting up a replacement. We got some good information from the rest of the computers, though, including some action items for us. At least I was able to find the place easily enough, and I got to lunch quickly enough to leave a few minutes to browse the nearby Gamestop. I even found a good used copy of the Megaman Zero collection, which I snapped up because I could test it immediately (it seems to work just fine) and it's tiny enough to fit in my bags easily. I walked to the same place as yesterday for dinner, which worked out okay, but was particularly fortuitous because someone else riding the elevator with me asked how the food was, and since I'd had some last night, I was able to recommend the place. I'll still have to find somewhere else to go tomorrow evening, though, because while the food was good, I should get more variety. There are a couple of sit-down places I pass on the way there, and likely a few more further up the road if I get adventurous, but I might just drive past them all and see what else I can find.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
