It was a pretty garbage day that picked up a bit at the end. I was nearly late to work, as usual, and then I spent the morning waiting for my computer to do anything until it was time to have too few people for Bridge. The entire afternoon was trying to run through test procedures when, after three or four iterations of the people who have them sending us "all the test files", we still turned out to be missing most of them. I decided to try to install updates before heading home, and the process seemed to freeze up completely. I let it run for half an hour after I was supposed to go home, then finally killed it and gave up. I got a letter from my doctor's medical network letting me know that a laptop with my information on it had been stolen to round things off. The bright side was that when we went to Arby's for dinner, the cashier let me know that they could make more sandwiches on wheat bread, so I got a Reuben on wheat. I'll have to ask about things like chicken sandwiches at some point, because I've been enjoying being able to eat sandwiches again this week, even if my glucose seems to be running a bit higher as a result. It's not going too high, at least not yet... just the higher side of acceptable. And I'm beginning to doubt it will ever go any lower than that.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
