Today was a good day

I started the day by cleaning up the commentary from last night, putting the video together, and posting my new LP thread for the Gobliiins series. Then I watched a couple of videos, but someone linked to the old Dark Id LP of Limbo of the Lost, and I'd forgotten enough of that game to think it was worth reading through it, since I missed it the first time around. I only got through the first couple of chapters, largely because Curt messaged me this morning and offered to take me out for a birthday dinner, since we hadn't had the chance yet this year. We went to Texas Roadhouse and had some good chicken and good unsweetened iced tea. It rained pretty hard, briefly, after I got back, but that obviously didn't dampen my evening at all.

I've also had some fun watching the Fine Bros entertainment empire start to collapse after they tried to trademark the word "REACT" (I don't imagine it will stand up to the deluge of challenges) and claim that they're not trying to own the concept of reaction videos while someone apparently acting on their behalf issues copyright claims on all reaction videos. I can appreciate their original intent, but their concept is just far too vague (and they do nothing to attempt to explain it) to be useful for licensing in the form they're trying to sell.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
