By the author of Gantz!, proclaim the covers. You know, that series the bookstores refuse to carry anymore. And I forgot to bring my gift cards again. I'm never going to remember.

It was a good weekend. I went to visit Mom, and we had my birthday dinner at the McCormick & Schmick's downtown. It took forever to get our food, and there was a bit of a mixup with the vegetables - Mom and I each ordered the mushroom and spinach sauté, but she got the spinach and I got the mushrooms. Fortunately, there were enough mushrooms to split, and they brought me a plate of spinach, and all of the food was good. We played some Hyrule Warriors and watched some Doctor Who, and I also showed Mom some of the earlier Zelda games, which she enjoyed to varying degrees. She wasn't all that into the original, but she liked Link to the Past enough to buy it, and she's already got Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker for the Gamecube - she hooked it up to have a go at the former after I showed her the 3D version, but we really didn't have time for that at the time. The trip home was also smooth, and I'm trying to decide whether to try to make tomorrow's lunch tonight or leave it for the morning. I don't really have much time in either case.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
