Psychonauts 2 will happen!

Today's Bridge: I was probably overbidding to compensate for Dan C. having underbid a bit recently, but it landed us in some contracts that were out of reach. Then I opened 3C with a really weak hand, and he raised to 4C. By our conventions, that's a further pre-empt, although I rather figured he was inviting game. I think I was underpowered even for my pre-empt, so I let it go, and to my credit, the game would have depended on the ace of diamonds being onside, which it was.

Today's Work: I joined the effort I was on yesterday again, and working with some of the project veterans, we solved some significant problems and got to a really good stopping point. Everything technically worked in the end, so the remaining changes will be mainly cosmetic or things that really should be done but won't break anything if they're not. I think it was a good end to the part of the week I spent at work, and now I have two days to find enough stuff to do at home, assuming my request for permission to work from home has gone through. I didn't manage to send it until the last minute because of the work I was doing this week. Oops.

My stomach hurt this evening, but because I thought the usual stream I watch wasn't going to happen, I recorded a take of Psychonauts commentary anyway. I don't think it was very good, but I'm probably going to run with it anyway and just clean up bits of it. I don't really feel like redoing it entirely. Although, I did think of one thing I need to check - if it's interesting enough, I may just re-edit the video yet again to incorporate it.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
