Well, I finally got around to recording some more Psychonauts... eventually. I wanted to play around with software capture methods, but opted to stick with the PVR Rocket just because I already know it works. Perhaps too well... the capture was in 1080p instead of the 720p I was getting before. I probably just forgot to set resolution options in the game. I should be able to work with it. Then I remembered that I hadn't installed the codecs I usually use for intermediate videos and spent the rest of the evening doing just that. 64-bit systems are a huge pain to work with. I didn't have time to encode a video to make sure it's all working, but the options are all there, so tomorrow, I can see how long it takes to encode. Hopefully, it's faster than on the old desktop, even though the videos will be much bigger. (I'll also probably need to start archiving the videos to free up space on that drive, although I can delete some of the directories I ripped to it from the old computer and no longer need.) Aside from that, I finished the third playthrough of Akiba's Trip, which took a bit longer than I was expecting but was pretty rewarding, all told. I picked a character for the fourth playthrough, which could be the final one, although I expect I'll need at least one more to finish collecting 100% of everything. I missed at least one thing that can probably only be obtained on that story path, but decided not to restore and replay those parts just for that. It'll be easier to do when it's the thing I'm trying to get instead of just one of many goals. There's still a lot to do in the few vacation days I have left, but I'm working on it.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
