Yeah, I went pretty quiet over Thanksgiving weekend. I hope everybody had a good one. My youngest brother surprised everyone by showing up for a few days, although somehow, I sort of expected him to be there even though there was no reason to. Probably a dream or something. We played a lot of card games and had some of my usual depression arguments over the fact that nobody can ever tell when I'm joking, but it was pretty fun overall. Then, when we got home, my houseguest fell down the front steps onto the sidewalk and got a nasty sprained ankle that swelled enough to make us worry, so we spent the rest of the afternoon in the hospital. Fortunately, things were considerably faster than usual. We eventually got everything done that needed to be done, so I'm in as good a shape as I can possibly be going into the week. No idea how my blood glucose is doing because I can never get a good blood draw and I ran out of test strips, but I can call the nurse tomorrow and see what it will take to fix those problems. Meanwhile, I've got plenty of leftovers, all vegetables except for a little box of blueberries, and a number of hopefully low-carb low-effort entrée options lined up, and low-carb tortillas to make lunch wraps with meat from the deli rather than pre-cut meats and cheeses. Should be fainting from low blood sugar any day now. On that note, it's about time to exercise.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
