A good day for some food

It was a pretty hellish day. Once again, I slept more during an hour of hitting my snooze alarm than during the entire night leading up to that, or so it felt like. I had to get my stuff together and ready to leave by my usual time, but it was about a two hour drive to the urban training ground where I'll be spending an undetermined portion of my week. Today was mostly about physical setup, so we had to move heavy stuff around and stand around in the sun a lot. It was a pretty warm day for November, which is nice for people who care about weather. Had it been raining this week, we probably wouldn't be doing this work at all. At least we went to a nice Mexican restaurant for lunch, where the lunch portions were almost dinner-sized. I know how bad an idea it is, but the huevos con chorizo were really good, and I did pass on the chili they had back at the site. We ran just a bit late, and then it was two more hours back. At least someone else is doing the driving (parking is very limited, and will be more so for the rest of the week), and he's okay with Doctor Who enough to listen to the new CDs that I haven't had a chance to check out yet. We spent today listening to Companion Chronicles and a rather Magoo First Doctor, and tomorrow, if we pick up from there, it'll be an Eighth Doctor adventure or two.

I don't feel particularly tired after all that exercise, either. Mostly, my feet just hurt from all the walking on uneven ground.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
