"Happy" is a relative term, of course

Today's Bridge: We had just four again today, so Dan C. and I teamed up against Paul and Ken. I stole most of the contracts, twice taking Dan out of long club suits. One of those I regret, the other may have been the right move, but I still went off in both. I finally let him have a 3C, which he just made, and finished with an easy 4H that made with an overtrick when the opponents didn't cash their two diamond tricks. We set the opponents a few times along the way as well, with clever and skillful defense that about made up for my incompetence at finding fits with my partner's 7-card club suits. (To be fair, one was a 1C-3C auction that I took as a cuebid even though it clearly wasn't. I had six spades and Dan let me have it with none. The club split was 4-0, but it might have had a shot at 3.)

Today's Work: I finally decided which sloppy thing to do to make the program compile, so I can start adding things. I'd like to clean it up a bit so the sloppiness isn't so sloppy, but I'll probably have to leave that for once I get all the parts that need to work working. It won't be any more effort to do later than earlier, which is unusual for programming work.

There were no tire pressure issues today, so I have no idea why my my light came on yesterday. It was pretty late by the time I was settled in to eat dinner and watch Steven Universe, but there was cake, so I'm happy.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
